11:21 am DEMAND to the CITY COUNCIL to open up the ACCESS TV AIRWAVES

1,137,311 @ 11:25 am

To the City Council and School Committee:

Mr. Falco, nice seeing you last evening.

I will be speaking at the council on Tuesday evening.  I ask that there be a suspension of the rules so that this important discussion be heard early.

As I have written to Mr. Finn on the petition, Adam Knight (not in the cc:) repeatedly pushes my petitions to "the back of the bus" to denigrate and harass this citizen.

You individuals work for us and that kind of sordid behavior is unacceptable in a free society.

My goal is a simple one - to open up the access airwaves to the public.

It is incumbent upon each and every elected official taking money from the residents of this city to ask the questions about censorship at TV3/47.

You cannot hide your heads in the sand on this one because you might upset Stephanie Burke.

The station is not a 501c3 that co-owns equipment with this city.  The station is being operated by the city with Muccini-Burke taking, in my opinion, 100% of the access monies in an obscene power grab designed to stifle free speech, with Mr. Rumley spewing lies like Donald Trump on steroids, his actions in direct conflict with Mark Rumey's words.  It is disgusting that Rumley baits the residents to trust him then he stabs them in the back.

It has to be as blunt as that with Rumley's CORI check demand which Woburn High, Wakefield High, Burlington High, Winchester High and other schools do not have as a demand, even though Winchester High - and Burlington and Woburn - have direct access to students which Medford doesn't have.

Indeed, some renegade students in Winchester decided to invade the editing bays when I was working on a project.  I was in a meeting and when I returned I was horrified that some student was at my desk on his own GOOGLE which means my work was "logged out" ...the students were not even members of the station.  The invasion was because they wanted to play with the computers.

Our projects were not safe when students not educated in access hijacked our computers.

This isn't about public safety, this Rumley Censorship "agreement" - it's a power grab so that the hundreds if not thousands of residents critical of Mayor Burke have stumbling blocks in place so that she can't be criticized on tv.

Then you have sycophants like Caraviello, Dello Russo, Scarpelli, Falco and Knight behaving unprofessionally as if Mrs. Burke is Santa Claus and they want treats.

Grow up.

Their behavior makes voters pause and think that the elections have been tainted.   Why would Adam Knight act with such impunity?    Because he's not afraid of the voters if he's been appointed by Burke and not voted in.

Allegedly.

Here's the public records request #1.  There will be many more.   When Kristina Fraser behaves unprofessionally and Ben Brown makes a stupid remark at that ghost town of a "party" on October 15, 2017, two days after Jenna Tarabelsi was convicted of rape, you know that something unusual is going on at Belson High.

Mark Rumley wants a CORI check on residents yet sexual predators are brought in as teachers, plural, and Roy Belson turns to Krissy Fraser and makes an ugly joke about it.

Sick.

The students actually need to be CORI checked these days so that we seniors are not harassed with poor behavior and our computers messed with because Burke and McGlynn had the audacity to put free speech at the high school - so that they could control it.

I have a very legal plan to free the access TV station.

If Ben Brown is negligent, fire him.

Mayor Burke has not right hiring a pit bull so that there is no proper out reach, no facilitation of programming, no public access TV.

Is there any doubt in your minds that this writer could have 200 members at the station creating vibrant programming, a website that has traction, and a true community center?

Look at the name guests phoning my show week after week in Somerville.

Guess what?

The majority of them are finding me...I don't even have to go looking unless I have a topic I want to discuss (the late Lou Reed.) - i have more major guests coming to me via their representatives than most access stations in Massachusetts

The result of hard work and honest efforts.

It would be refreshing to see this city council start protecting our resources, not giving our treasures away to the greedy McGlynn/Rumley/Muccini-Burke cabal.

See you on Tuesday night.  Have some answers for us.

I got rid of TV3 and Uncle Gene from the Housing Authority --- when I put my mind to it, I accomplish many things.

Removing Ben Brown and Muccini-Burke from access TV will be my goal if they don't start behaving and airing my good, clean program.

So help me God.

"You are a determined man"  (an executive from Warner Brothers Records, with a smile, offering me to meet Lou Reed without my asking him!!!! God Bless him!)

"MY day beats your year"  Lou Reed

Open up the access station now, or so help me God, public records requests will fly until we get the answers and the evidence to remove the negligent Benjamin Brown and Muccini-Burke/Rumley censorship tactics from our airwaves

Re: Massachusetts Public Records Request

Dear Keeper of the Records:
This is a request under the Massachusetts Public Records Law (M. G. L. Chapter 66, Section 10). I am requesting that I be provided a copy of the following records:
1)All records/documents of Medford Community Media station manager Ben Brown's time card for work at the station funded by cable TV subscribers for the month of January 2018
2)All records showing how much "outreach" and "facilitation of programming" Ben Brown performs on a daily basis
3)A document listing of all members of the public access TV station and their addresses and when they joined.  Please do not try to deny a list of community members of a TV station operated by City Hall (not students, but members of the public participating)
4)The document noting the  number of members at Medford Community Media
5)The document(s) showing the exact number of community shows recorded at the Medford access facility
6)the minutes of the meetings of this station from June 2017 to present
I recognize that you may charge reasonable costs for copies, as well as for personnel time needed to comply with this request, however, as a member of the media and that these records are of great public interest, I request any fees be waived.
The Public Records Law requires you to provide me with a written response within 10 business days. If you cannot comply with my request, you are statutorily required to provide an explanation in writing.
As this journalist is speaking at the city council on January 30, 2018 I kindly request that this matter be expedited.

Sincerely,

Joe Viglione
