Shouldn't Medford have a Chief of Staff who lives in Medford and cares about Medford? Rodrigues purportedly lives in Danvers while the public access TV station manager lives even further north. How does this help Medford with outsiders infiltrating city government?

What is different - radically different - will be Rodrigues-Murphy’s commute time. She and her husband, who is the assistant town manager of Winthrop, live in Danvers with their two young daughters.
Sudbury selectmen appeared to do everything they could to demonstrate their appreciation for the work of Town Manager Melissa Murphy-Rodrigues. But just 11 months after inking her to a three-year contract that provided raises of at least 5.6 percent in each of the three years, they still couldn’t hold onto her.
