The Threat that David Rodrigues Poses to the City of Medford - Breanna's Very Bad Choice for a Chief of Staff

IGNORANCE OF MEDFORD RESIDENTS IS NOT BLISS - LUNGO-KOEHN ADMINISTRATION'S BAD CHOICES DAMAGING LIFE IN MEDFORD

SPECIAL REPORT

In the 1996 film Primal Fear, attorney Martin Vail (Richard Gere) tells corrupt D.A. Shaughnessy (John Mahoney) "The pipes are leaking again."  In Medford, under Lungo-Koehn, the pipes are quite literally leaking, non-stop.

You can attribute this atrocity with the DPW (Water and Sewer) to alleged Danvers resident Chief-of-Staff David Rodrigues as much as you can Breanna Lungo-Koehn.  We are talking about supreme incompetence with the individual that Medford residents do not know.  Looking into the background of Rodrigues you see a man who allegedly is riding on his wife's coattails, not a smart, strategic, brilliant individual by any stretch, but a mumbling, fumbling moron that the residents of Medford cannot relate to.

ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS LOOK AT HIS DUMB MUTTERINGS ON TWITTER IN ORDER FOR ME TO SAY:

"YOUR HONOR, I REST MY CASE!"

What kind of Chief of Staff keeps an electrician at the DPW who allegedly threatened to stab a co-worker with a knife?
Don't let the facts your eyes see in front of you get in the way of City Hall Propaganda... (with a capital CHP) from a mayor oh so outraged by the bullet and gun magazine found at the McGlynn School when she was a long-time city councilor.

Breanna's a smart, pretty and very capable attorney.  This feigned ignorance at city hall with rumors of Breanna locked in her bunker in the corner office and not coming out.

This is transparency?   Really?

Are we that stupid to accept Trump bad salesmanship from a sitting mayor who does NOT want to be held accountable?

Who is David Rodrigues?

The sparse and ignorant tweets on the Rodrigues Twitter account do not guide citizens.  It reads like some egomaniac talking about chocolate and elastic bands, but hardly puts on display any understanding of what Medford is and how we can make improvements for the future.

Just ordered 200 hair elastics from Amazon. Because as a #girldad in the time of Covid, there are never enough hair elastics. Never.
Rodrigues' tweets show no professionalism from an individual in such a high position in the city of Medford.  And look at the stretch in between tweets - August 1 to August 21.  Twenty days of no information for citizens, behaving like Patrick "I don't give a damn" Gordon over at the all-new (NOT) TV3 at the high school?

What Rodrigues DOESN'T tweet speaks volumes?

Paul Comeau Jr. exposed as Vice Chair of the School Committee, convicted felon Paul Ruseau?

Instead of allegedly frog-marching the Procurement woman out of City Hall allegedly on August 21, 2020, a Friday, why isn't Rodrigues railing about the New Hampshire thief that stole from the school system up there now infecting the Medford school system like that other bad hire, Jenna Tarabelsi, though Ruseau's crime was stealing a computer, Tarabelsi had sex with a 15 (that's FIFTEEN) year old and allegedly two seventeen year olds.

Medford, are you not tired of the complacency and lack of effort on behalf of the past three administrations.

A friend of mine said to me at the inaugural, "Breanna is part of the same old system.  Nothing will change."

Here on the 238th day of her administration the verdict is in, and - quite sadly - my friend and colleague whom many of you do not know, but who does speak at the city council from time to time, is absolutely spot on.

Breanna Lungo-Koehn is doing things in the dark, like Stephanie Muccini-Burke and Michael J. McGlynn before her.

Nothing has changed.
No "partners in progress"
No Community
No Integrity
Absolutely no Transparency
No Public Access TV

A CORI check for your grandma at access, and people running for office, but a convicted thief who did serious jail time as vice chair of the school committee....the public still does not know the full extent of Paul Ruseau's crimes and why he got prison time...

Transparency from a corner office chock full of nepotism?

Rodrigues, Piques and Colaianni, LLC
is what I call it

Medford residents scratch their collective heads and say "who the hell?"

With the absolute worst city council, top to bottom, that rips the city off TO THE TUNE of Two Hundred Thousand dollars or so a year.

Uggggh....

Want to meet Nicole and Zac from the Our Revolution?

Go to your polling places...they will most likely be there sending their subliminal message.

Not good, Medford, not good at all.

What is different - radically different - will be Rodrigues-Murphy’s commute time. She and her husband, who is the assistant town manager of Winthrop, live in Danvers with their two young daughters.

Sudbury selectmen appeared to do everything they could to demonstrate their appreciation for the work of Town Manager Melissa Murphy-Rodrigues. But just 11 months after inking her to a three-year contract that provided raises of at least 5.6 percent in each of the three years, they still couldn’t hold onto her.

Selectmen in North Andover announced this past week that they have approved a three-year contract with Murphy-Rodrigues, according to the Eagle-Tribune of North Andover.

The newspaper reported that Murphy-Rodrigues will be paid $194,000 when she begins her duties sometime in the next 90 days. Her pay will rise to $197,880 on July 1, 2020, $201,837 on July 1, 2021, and $204,865 on July 1, 2022.

During each year she will also receive a $6,000 automobile allowance and $13,000 in deferred compensation, according to the Eagle-Tribune.

Those terms aren’t all that different from the three-year contract Murphy-Rodrigues was awarded last August in Sudbury. For fiscal 2020, which began this month, her annual salary is $192,200. She was due to receive a 6 percent raise, to $203,754, in fiscal 2021.
What is different - radically different - will be Rodrigues-Murphy’s commute time. She and her husband, David Rodrigues, the assistant town manager of Winthrop, live in Danvers with their two young daughters. And the drive to Sudbury from Danvers is much longer than the commute up Rte. 114 to North Andover.
In the end, as Dorothy Gale said in “The Wizard of Oz,” there’s no place like home.
