Joe,
the first pic is that of the shoddy job done to repair. Did not cover
the sprinkler head properly and will most certainly break again.
Also,
there is no rain check valve in this system to stop the flow of water
when it is raining...so if it rains for several days, the system will
water the entire park the entire time during the scheduled time to
water.
