re: ENFORCEMENT OF MASK MANDATE
Dear Director of Health O'Connor:
On September 10th the mask order was implemented.
On September 14th after the primary election, failed candidate for school committee, Kerry Laidlaw,
waltzed in to council chambers unmasked. I believe I heard her say to someone there "I can't wear a mask."
Is city hall going to go after scofflaws like Kerry Laidlaw potentially posing a serious health risk to those of
us who comply with the logical, sensible mask mandate?
Ms. Laidlaw allegedly met with Chief John Buckley at the home of Anna Maria Cugno on the Fellsway.
That was the rumor, some "Medford United" meeting, it was alleged.
Is Chief Buckley giving an exemption to Ms. Laidlaw for allegedly meeting her once?
That would be so hypocritical.
Laidlaw also proclaims she is very close friends with Breanna Lungo-Koehn and John Falco.
Allegedly the Falco family watches Ms. Laidlaw's child or children.

City Council President Caraviello is in this photo, wearing a mask (and Caraviello's mask seems to be properly fit where in
the past Caraviello has been seen with the mask not covering his nose.) Why didn't the Council President call the police
and have Laidlaw arrested or at least removed for failing to comply with the mask mandate?

The unmasked woman, out of compliance, claims to know Chief Buckley, claims she is "best friends" with Mayor Lungo-Koehn
and John Falco, and waltzes by a council president, Zac Bears, other members of the school committee, and all these
government officials - wearing masks - are too apathetic and/or lazy to call the police to have Laidlaw removed?
If Director of Public Health doesn't fine, sanction or have Laidlaw arrested as she's caught on camera in a photo with
the council president and others, then the City of Medford is being hypocritical and giving precedent for anyone going
in to a store to ignore the mask order.
Why did City Hall NOT enforce the mask mandate immediately ? yet city hall is asking stores to enforce this?
Many elected officials, from Paul Ruseau, Zac Bears to Rick Caraviello and others were there with God as my witness.
It sounds like hypocrisy.
Today
I purchased 2 N95 masks (four, actually, two packs) though I bought
some on eBay as well. Some of us are working hard to keep ourselves
and others as safe as possible.
This
is a demand that the police, the mayor, the director of public health
do SOMETHING in regards to citywide scofflaw, Kerry Laidlaw.

9/7/2021: Citing the increase in positive cases due to the spread of the Delta variant, The Medford Board of Health approved a mask order for customers and employees at indoor public facilities at its emergency meeting on September 7. The order will go into effect at 12:01 a.m. on September 10 and will be reevaluated at the next regularly scheduled Board of Health meeting. Read the order here.

Noticed tonight that the city has a mask mandate at all local
stores. Signs were up at Harbor Freight, AT&T, Aspen Dental, etc.
Why was there no such signage at city hall in Alden Chambers on the night of Tuesday September 14th?
