Community members invited to attend annual remembrance ceremony outside of City Hall on 9/11 at 8:30am

The City of Medford will hold a remembrance ceremony for victims of 9/11 on Saturday, September 11th at 8:30am. The ceremony will be held outside of City Hall and will include a brief speaking agenda, Honor Guards from the Medford Police and Fire Departments, and a moment of silence at 8:46am coinciding with the time that Flight 11 struck the North Tower of the World Trade Center.

Community members are invited to attend to help us remember and honor victims of the 9/11attacks, as well as thank and honor first responders.

The City of Medford has also invited houses of worship throughout the City to ring their bells at the times that each of the 4 planes crashed on the morning of September 11, 2001.

Medford city services are available to all residents, regardless of economic situation, immigration status, ability, benefit eligibility, or religious affiliation.
