 On Thursday, November 7, 2019 after 7:30 p.m. the City of Medford Board of Appeals will hold a Public Hearing on the following cases in Room 201, Medford City Hall: 


 91 Chandler Road  (Case #A-2019-19) – 

Continued from September 30, 2019 Applicant and owner Bruce Barr seeks a variance from the Chapter 94 zoning to construct a one-story addition and convert an existing single-family dwelling to a two-family dwelling, in a Single Family One (SF-1) Zoning District, not allowed, with insufficient rear yard setback and access from off-street parking spaces to street. 

 179 College Avenue (Case #A-2019-20) Applicants Michael Korcynski and Laurel Ruma are petitioning for an administrative appeal on a decision by the Building Commissioner regarding the approval of a Building Permit from Tufts University for 179 College Avenue.. 


 342 Salem Street (Case #A-2019-21) Applicant and owner Long T. Nguyen seeks a variance from the Chapter 94 zoning to alter an existing non-conforming structure by constructing a third-floor addition, and converting the existing retail use to a mixed use consisting of retail space and 4 residential units in an Apartment One (Apt-1) Zoning District, Allowed Use, which requires a finding by the Zoning Board or Appeals, with insufficient lot area, lot width, usable area, front and side yard setbacks, width of access aisles, buffer strip, and setback of parking spaces. 

 605 Fellsway West (Case #A-2019-22) Applicant and owner Nicholas Kombouras seeks a variance from the Chapter 94 zoning to convert an existing non-conforming two-family dwelling to a three-family dwelling in a General Residence (GR) Zoning District – Not Allowed, with insufficient lot area, lot width, front, rear and side yard setbacks, and off-street parking spaces; also exceeds maximum allowed lot coverage. Approval of Meeting Minutes and Discussion of Rules Petitions and plans are available for public review in the office of the Secretary of the Board of Appeals, Denis MacDougall, Room 205, Medford City Hall. -
