Ask who in the McGlynn family profited from River's Edge and understand why there's no access TV in Medford

Watch dishonest Arthur Alan Deluca chime in on this post; internet stalker Art DeLuca is part of the problem and profits allegedly from TV3 with alleged free bus passes, alleged membership at TV3 for life, alleged Christmas bonuses, documented cash for "services" while sitting on the board of directors (see Rumley Report, 2/10/08)

Mike McGlynn referencing River's Edge is like Henry Ford bragging about the Edsel. The fiasco ended up costing someone 4 million dollars because of alleged bullying tactics by the Mystic Valley Development Commission, which McGlynn is chairperson of. McGlynn intentionally scuttled the public access station in Medford, well aware that access TV played a part in bringing down Vinny Piro in the 1980s. This newspaper charges $2.00 per copy while the Stoneham edition, owned by the same company, is free. The Transcript reads like it issues press releases from City Hall rather than engaging in real reporting. After 26 years a Mayor should be grilled with questions about his lack of enthusiasm bringing businesses into Medford - empty storefronts from Mystic Ave to Salem Street have been an eyesore throughout McGlynn's reign. As the editor of this paper told me "If you want to do business in Medford..." Her voice trailed off but Nell was definitely stating "you have to play ball with the Mayor." Play ball with city hall. That's not how a local newspaper serves its readers or its advertisers. Come to think of it, I paid for a public records request which told me exactly how much money this newspaper gets from city hall. That city hall is one of the biggest clients of the Medford Transcript should send a chill through every resident. You are not getting unfiltered news, you are getting filtered rhetoric from the McGlynn campaign. Pay no attention to that man behind the curtain, just pay for public records requests to know the truth
