TO JAMES M
I hear you, but disagree with you. Do not know your background and if you've been involved in the politics of this city, but having experienced city councilors attacking multiple seniors they disagree with, filing the proper papers (as Edward Snowden did, as the Trump whistleblower did) only to find out, as Snowden did, that he had no protections, that it was a massive government scandal that HE got caught up in for doing the right thing, Snowden is on the run and the perpetrators are protected. That is just inadequate in a civil society. There is no process with Jack Buckley, Mayor Burke and especially City Solicitor Rumley - but you aren't listening to the facts. Medford, the city, is infested with organized crime disguised as government officials. You think you know the truth about convicted high school rapist Jenna Tarabelsi, but you don't. There's a back story involving Arlington Catholic High, a school that I attended simultaneously with Michael J. McGlynn. But the residents don't know the full story, that Tarabelsi was allegedly a political hire, a favor to take out AC High School's trash (and there is a term for removing bad teachers and taking out the trash, can't think of it right now) and that's what Medford did for Arlington. But without a reporter like yours truly going deeper into the story, interrogating ex superintendent Belson, you wouldn't have the answers. The word is that this scandal is much bigger, that the individuals involved may have done far worse than Muccini-Burke wants you to know in an election cycle, and without the names Burke figures she can get reelected and use this case as an example of her "leadership" when, truth be told, Mrs. Burke wasn't looking and didn't protect the city from this malfeasance. It IS Malfeasance, JAMES M.- it wasn't made right, and there IS a cover-up at city hall so unless you are Burke's spokesperson, you need to ask the same questions we are asking: name(s), rank, serial number and here's their walking papers, after indictment, after some prison time. ZERO TOLERANCE for those who break the oath of office; those who hurt the public instead of preserving the safety of the public
