 A Mayor must be mayor of ALL people,
especially those they do not like or have a conflict with.

 This is Mrs. Burke's Achilles' heel

 It doesn't matter that she has Michael Sullivan, Maura Healey, Martha Coakley, Marian Ryan, all those Ms get in the way of the M(ayor) doing her job.

 Mrs. Burke takes care of family first and yells and screams if you mention her "family."

Well, Stephanie,

 when you stash dear old mom in Senior Housing and have her do your dirty work for you campaigning

 when your son can't quite cut it, so you cut the minority kid

 when your daughter is being inappropriate and quite offensive to the other students by allegedly being a bad girl, and the talk of the school - and none of it good...

 and when the police allegedly have to watch out for some court clerk with a brown paper bag allegedly in his automobile

 well, damn straight we are going to bring up your family.

 None of your opponents carried so much baggage, ever.

 So you can take your war chest and your political connections and see a more popular person getting a huge groundswell over you.

 40 days and it looks like Stephanie is sinking with the water chestnuts in the Mystic River...
