Attorney Kimberly Scanlon
Assistant City Solicitor
Medford City Hall
85 Geo P. Hassett Drive
Medford MA 02155

Dear Atty Scanlon:

A determination was made on October 24th 2019 for the names of the 27 officers to be released to my news site.

On October 24th the typical "Reconsideration" by Mark E. Rumley prior to a critical election was sent to the Sec. of State's office.

On November 15, 2019 a 2nd Determination was made.

City Hall Medford has rarely had the public interest in mind.   This information is of great public interest.

Why did the public have to wait 15 days after the Reconsideration was sent, and now an additional ten days when, clearly,
the information should have been made public for voters to have a fair opportunity to make an informed decision.

I respectfully request that you release the names to me today as the citizens had to wait fifteen days because
of Mr. Rumley's (again) flawed decision to move the goal posts back with his gaming the system.

To quote Mayor McGlynn "Why all the anxiety?"

I would appreciate that you be the public servant you are paid to be and release the names today.

Enough stalling.

The story is time sensitive and the rights of the public are being denied by the Muccini-Burke administration by this stalling tactic.

The citizens have a clear picture of how inconsiderate the Burke Administration and its City Solicitor are.

Mr. Rumley and Stephanie Burke seem to forget who pays their salaries.

Sincerely,

Joe Viglione
