Sanctions for Burke, City Councilors
TO: Council President John Falco
1)There are allegations that Mayor Burke has refused to show up for work after she lost the election on November 5.
If you do nothing, Mr. Falco, you are on a very slippery slope given that we have a new mayor - a former council colleague of yours -
who has displayed her frustration with the do-nothing rubber-stamp for Stephanie Burke council
With Burke's administration fragmented and dissolving, you have an obligation to the taxpayers to identify alleged malfeasance, which
a dereliction of duties would constitute, in my opinion.
Has Mrs. Burke shown up to work since November 4 and, if so, how can you prove it?
Has Mrs. Burke violated her oath of office?
2)If Mrs. Burke is - metaphorically - "golfing at Mar-a-Lago" like another "elected official" who doesn't like showing up for work,
taxpayers should be refunded whatever monies Burke is getting paid for this period.
This is a critical time when power changes hands. This isn't about Mrs. Burke's enormous ego, this is about operating a city.
If Stephanie Muccini-Burke believes the hot air from Ken "Medford" Krause in the Medford Transcript, that shameful letter praising Mrs. Burke
for doing nothing, set her straight and penalize her monetarily as well as removing her from office.
3)While you are at it, you should also hold No Confidence votes on Chief of Police Buckley, Solicitor Mark Rumley, Adam Knight and
Frederick N. Dello Russo, Jr. for giving a fraudulent position to the voters on October 1, a month before the election. A position that the
Public Records Division disagreed with, and gave the law in no uncertain terms to prove those individuals were not forthright with the citizens,
businesses, civic groups and visitors to Medford.
The offensive rhetoric was that they couldn't hand over the names of officers allegedly involved in "compensation fraud" because
they all falsely claimed it was a "personnel issue."
When that didn't work they tried "investigatory issue." That failed as well.
How many more bites of the apple does deficient Mark E. Rumley want?
We now have proof, based on my hard work and honest efforts, that the public's right to know is paramount.
The public has a right to know if these individuals are adhering to their oath of office.
The public has a right to know if public servants are respecting the monies they are paid, their obligations to the community, operating
a city budget ethically and logically, beyond the delusions that Ken Krause chose to put into print.
Jack Buckley and Mark Rumley utilized the "power of suggestion" to fool the public.
Here's an infamous quote: "Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it." Adolf Hitler
You have an obligation, Mr. Falco, not to uphold the lies and continue to deceive the public as Rumley, Buckley, Burke, Dello Russo and Knight attempted to do.
Mrs. Burke allegedly has not shown up for work. You, as council president, need to have a hearing this Tuesday, November 19th, and stop the bleeding. Get us the evidence, hold Stephanie Muccini-Burke accountable if she is derelict in her duties.
Failing to do so calls into question your ability to govern. I will be reporting on your actions, or lack thereof, and watching you very, very closely,
Mr. Falco.
Do you have any doubt? This work I do is for the greater good of the public. It is to improve Medford.
Mrs. Burke was a terrible mayor. Now the rumors are she's too lazy and offended by the loss to show up for work.
I demand you hold a No Confidence vote on Mrs. Burke this Tuesday night, November 19th
