Election Information Preliminary Election Day is Tuesday, September 14th, however there several ways you can vote over the next week.

 


Hello, this is the City of Medford with information about the upcoming Preliminary Election.
 
The official Preliminary Election Day is Tuesday, September 14th, however there several ways you can vote over the next week. 

Please note that when voting in person during Early Voting or on Election Day at your polling place, all voters, staff, and volunteers will be required to wear masks. Election staff and volunteers will regularly sanitize polling stations. 
 
You can vote in any of the following ways for the upcoming election:
 
EARLY VOTING
 
Early Voting will be held at City Hall this week, as follows:
Tuesday, September 7th, 8:30am – 4:30pm
Wednesday, September 8th, 8:30am- 7:30pm
Thursday, September 9th, 8:30am - 4:30pm
Friday, September 10th, 8:30am - 12:30pm
BY MAIL
 
If you have requested a mail-in ballot, you can return your completed ballot in the signed yellow envelope by mail OR by dropping if off at our secure ballot drop box outside of the east entrance of City Hall..
 
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR VOTING BY MAIL:
If you have requested a ballot to vote by mail, please remember that the deadline to return ballots to City Hall is Tuesday, September 14th, by 8:00 p.m. 
All ballots must be returned in a sealed, signed EV/AV Affirmation yellow envelope. If you have your ballot but do NOT have a yellow return envelope, please contact the Registrars of Voters Office before returning your ballot. Extra yellow envelopes are available at City Hall for pickup, or you can call the Registrars of Voters at 781-393-2491
 
AT YOUR POLLING LOCATION
 
Polls will be open on Tuesday, September 14th, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. There are 2 polling locations in each ward. If you are not sure of your polling place, you can visit www.medfordma.org and click on “Voter Information” to look up your polling place.
