What's hilarious to me is the public thinks Republicans handle economics better. I know it's because most Americans are sleazy and stupid but that's embarrassing. Did you know Trump weakened the dollar's value by 12% overall in 2017? Did you know we're a massive importing country that makes less than 15% of GDP from exporting? Did you know we need a strong dollar for purchasing power? Did you know companies were forced to spend more capital to import goods, which meant they increased prices to keep their record profits? Did you know Biden and Yellen increased the value of the dollar? Did you know the dollar was at the best level in 20 years vs. the euro? Did you know Trump triggered the inverted yield curve in 2019, before the pandemic? This is when a 3-month government bond yields more money on a return than a 10-YEAR government bond. That's insane and should never, ever happen. However, I know why. Republicans erode the solvency of a country until it collapses. Computers crunched the figures and ten years from now America looked broke. Yet the public is ready to vote for Trump and Republicans to fix everything? HA!
