Does anyone think that Karen Anderson, city clerk of Malden, goes around saying "give the whack to Judy Lonergan," or...even worse, actually "whacking" a senior citizen?

How can Mark E. Rumley defend such indefensible violence against seniors by

Edward P. Finn, City Clerk?

SECTION 2.10 CITY SOLICITOR-DUTIES

The City Solicitor shall have the following duties:
A. to draft all deeds and other legal documents on behalf of the City;

B. to examine all real estate titles to be conveyed to the City;

C. to prosecute and defend all actions and suits commenced by or against the City, its agents, servants, officers and employees; and an allowance for traveling expenses while out of the city shall be granted, as appropriated;

D. to do every act incident to the office required by the City Council, or any committee thereof;

E. to furnish at the request of any officer a legal opinion on any municipal matter.

In a court of law we will ask a City Solicitor if he has ever used a taxpayer-funded e mail on a church's site, if he has ever conducted business outside of City Hall on a workday and - if he had persmission of the Mayor, were the citizens made aware of it at any time?

A City lawyer should RECUSE himself from criminal complaint hearings when an application is made against a city official with the allegation of violence against a senior.
