Paul Donato

Hello State Reps Donato, Sean Garballey and Senator Jehlen:
1)Allegations
that an employee of the highway department waltzed into his office in
sneakers, shorts, looking like a beach bum, is circulating around our
city.
.
With
a city clerk half asleep at city council meetings, and two councilors -
Adam Knight and Fred Dello Russo Jr. engaging in First Amendment
violations- thus far - getting away with the illegal stomping on free
speech rights at the city council, it appears that the embattled mayor
and her embattled school superintendent just plunge forward no matter
how many department heads make their exodus. This damages the city of
Medford
Mrs.
Burke is blatant about her vindictive retaliation (now it is Michael
Marks and Breanna Lungo Koehn's insurance that Muccini Burke is
allegedly after? This from a former colleague of theirs?) and having
teacher's pets.
We
see what having a teacher's pet did for a certain varsity coach on or
about June 30, 2015, and as the former director of personnel and
Superintendent Belson allegedly engaged in a massive cover-up over the
affair, well, it does give new meaning to "teacher's pet," and shows
exactly why there's no place for favoritism in city government.
What
kind of city hall embraces Ed Finn's half-asleep sad sack routine
week-after-week on camera. It's like a sick Twilight Zone episode of
Laurel and Hardy where the joke is on the residents of this city. Clerk
Finn should be retired, City Solicitor Rumley, embracing the Peter
Principle of one rising to the level of his own incompetence, must go,
and Superintendent Belson - without question - has outworn his welcome.
A long time ago.
Last
night I gave copies of Reading Cable Television's finances for 2015 to
certain elected officials and citizens. Why didn't the board member
investigating his own former fellow board members, conflicted Mark
Rumley, just give us the financials for MCC TV3? He sat on the board.
Rumley can't feign ignorance on the financials and meeting minutes, he's the city lawyer for pity's sake.
As
a board member of a radio station in Somerville I can assure you I have
been proactive picking up the slack if the board needed additional
meeting minutes. Our meeting minutes are in order ...and it begs the
question - why did former board member Mark Rumley not take minutes if
he saw his colleagues were (allegedly intentionally) ignoring such an
important duty?
Two points:
a)so
much public money flowed through their hands - the city not monitoring
them is the fault of McGlynn, Michael J. and his appointed solicitor.
b)the
city, which Mr. Rumley has an obligation to protect, was in a unique
relationship and co-owned the equipment. IF Mr. Rumley failed to take
meeting minutes when his colleagues failed to do so, how is that
benefiting the city Rumley gets paid handsomely to serve?
It's
not that difficult. So why did Judge Jackson-Thompson receive
meeting minutes from this resident and, allegedly, not from the city
solicitor who was actually on the board of directors?
Mr. Donato, you have an obligation to investigate these two items:
1)the
meeting minutes and financial records of MCC not delivered to the
citizens of Medford as Mr. Rumley promised us in the Medford Transcript,
22 months ago.
2)the
allegation against the highway department employee and - if you find
the information credible - your office is obligated to file an
appropriate complaint i

received this e mail and also to see if you acted on this e mail. As
you are up for re-election, we need to know if you are on the side of
the residents or if you fear retaliation from the unqualified Stephanie
Muccini-Burke.

Last
night, May 10th, Councilor Scarpelli, Councilor Falco, Councilor Marks
and Councilor Lungo-Koehn received the information on Reading TV. Why
has city hall not presented those four councilors with the Medford
Community Cablevision, Inc. financials in similar fashion?
Enough
with the deflections and nonsense about the library deed, not when
students abuse those library computers, sometimes on a daily basis, in
violation of Thatcher Magoun's wishes.
City Hall, Burke and Rumley, again, want it both ways. Their way, which is selfish, and not the way that the residents want it, which would be public service. Something anathema to them.
Public service. Either serve the public, or send sad sack Ed Finn packing.
A
Class Action suit would be a good start, but Mr. Free Speech Mark
Rumley interrupted my speech to the residents in a classless, dilatory
and damaging way.
But what do I know? I've only been involved in radio since 1978 and access TV since 1979.
Respectfully,
Joe Viglione
