Dear Chief of Staff Dever Wood:
At 10:56 am today, June 2nd, the City Website shows that 3 Hormel commissioners are Cosmo Volpe, Jeanine Camuso and John Buckley. Screenshot attached below.
1)Didn't Mr. Buckley retire?
2)Is Mrs. Camuso working for Mayor Burke AND acting as a commissioner for Hormel Stadium?
If
the information is incorrect I am bringing it to the attention of city
webmaster Allison Goldsberry as I heard that Jack Buckley had retired
and have concerns about a city employee possibly getting additional
funds as a commissioner. As I'm not aware of the rules or any
ordinances which may allow this, I'm asking for a clarification. Perhaps
it is totally fine to hold the two positions (see front page of the
Boston Globe today for a huge story on that - Hospital Chief Holds Three
Paid Positions) or perhaps the commissioner has already stepped down.
Enclosed is a public records request so that we citizens can have accurate information.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Respectfully,
Joe Viglione

Re: Massachusetts Public Records Request
Dear Keeper of the Records
Dear Keeper of the Records
This is a request under the Massachusetts Public Records Law
(M. G. L. Chapter 66, Section 10). I am requesting that I be provided a
copy of the following records:
1)The contract between the city of Medford and Jeanine Femino Camuso for her employment as
Assistant to the Director of Personnel, ( http://www.medfordma.org/2016/01/21/mayor-burke-announces-staff/ ) and the contract for Mrs. Camuso's position as Assistant to the Chief of Staff and/or any title she may hold today.
Jeanine Femino-Camuso
Assistant to the Chief of Staff

Email: jcamuso@medford.org
Assistant to the Chief of Staff
Phone: (781) 393-2406
Email: jcamuso@medford.org
2)Documents
or paycheck stubs for work as Commissioner of Hormel Stadium as well as
paycheck stubs for Assistant to the Director of Personnel and Assistant
to the Chief of Staff and any other additional paychecks for any other
work Mrs. Camuso is engaged in for the city
3)Documents
noting payment for any other stipend or job for the city, including
contracts, pay stubs, e mail correspondence, text messages noting the
work done for the city of Medford
4)Qualifications.
Any documents given to city hall for qualifications for employment, a
resume, letters of endorsement etc. As Mrs. Camuso's husband was so
visible actively working for the campaign some residents, including this
writer, would like assurances that Mrs. Camuso is eminently qualified
for the position she now has at city hall.
I recognize that you may charge reasonable costs for copies,
as well as for personnel time needed to comply with this request. If
you expect costs to exceed $10.00, please provide a detailed fee
estimate.
The Public Records Law requires you to provide me with a
written response within 10 calendar days. If you cannot comply with my
request, you are statutorily required to provide an explanation in
writing.
Sincerely,
Joe Viglione
