“Crime is crime. We have to be diligent when fighting all crime. Our seniors deserve all our attention in helping to fight senior scams,” said Chief Sacco.

Duh!   You don't say, Leo!   If you admit to the crime, you should step down because of the crime, and enabling a psycho cop like LeBert IS the crime.  The cover up is WORSE than the crime, especially for someone the public wants to trust.  Leo A. Sacco, Jr. is untrustworthy and totally dishonest in how he handled LeBert, James Lee, Shawn Norton and other reprobate cops.

Because there are a number of things here that I should have addressed him on. There were enough warning signs that I probably should have — I’m kicking myself. I feel terrible about it because I feel I caused this problem to happen.”

Chief Leo A. Sacco, Jr., whose resume' includes bashing  victims in the press, admitted to his wrongful conduct in the Stephen LeBert affair.

Not the Sgt. Jimmy Lee affair, that's another kind of an affair that Sacco also dropped the ball on.

Sacco is two for two! in that regard.

Like why he did it!!!
