RE: July 19th City Council meeting and TV3 Medford
Dear Solicitor Rumley,

I hope this note finds you well.

On or about July 24, 2014 TV3 Medford was required to hand you all the financial statements (and possibly the meeting minutes) that you requested of them.   You gave them a ten day extension as well.

I respectfully request that you consider giving the citizens a statement at the July 19, 2016 meeting of the Medford City Council.   I intend to file a petition for that evening to discuss how Springfield TV and Hull TV give FREE memberships to their citizens (as the citizens already pay for access TV via the franchise fee.)

Since so many of our dollars pour into the General Fund yet we have no free speech platform with which to air public domain movies or talk about 61 Locust St., I think it is only fair that Mayor Burke give every citizen free access tv without the roadblock of a membership fee.  Other cities and towns do it, and they do not owe the cable ratepayers as Medford does.

We would appreciate an update on this serious situation as it has now been two full years since you made the demand on Medford Community Cablevision, Inc.    I also would like you to investigate a recent letter to the editor from Arthur Alan DeLuca as published in the Medford Transcript, and more of his bizarre proclamations about TV3 on a recent Facebook post.  I have both of these documents which I will be happy to forward to you.

Mr. Deluca's off-the-reservation postings appear to incriminate him and the board of directors of Medford Community Cablevision, Inc.   I have spoken to the public charities division and they are aware that the documents are going to be provided to them via U.S. Mail.

As DeLuca is still a member of the board of directors, and since his proclamations seem to be his position designed to absolve MCC of any mischief, our city solicitor should read Deluca's press releases - ostensibly from the board of directors - and see if there is enough evidence there for the city to proceed with a lawsuit against the board of directors of MCC, which the Medford Transcript noted two years ago the city was planning to file.

TV3’s Board of Directors now has until Thursday, July 24 (2014) to produce financial records from the station’s final year or it could face legal action from the city.

Thank you for your prompt attention to this serious matter.

E mail to Maura Healy, 11:17 pm July 8, 2016

"There have been a lot of people who have been hurt here in Massachusetts"
Maura Healy on Channel 5  11:17 pm  July 8, 2016  5 Investigates

“No company in Massachusetts is allowed to market a major event, sell tickets to thousands of people, and then pull up stakes without giving people back the money they are owed,” said Cyndi Roy Gonzalez, a spokeswoman for Healey. “Consumers were promised a quick refund, but were instead left high and dry.”

Is Maura Healy talking about Medford Community Cablevision, Inc.?  Why has the investigation stalled?  Why are Medford cable TV subscribers getting screwed by former AG Martha Coakley and now Maura Healey when they drag their feet on this important issue.

We currently have no public access TV in Medford.  Why?   Why did the Corporation attempt to close with 38K not accounted for, and many questionable filings that the board of directors refuse to give information on.

Arthur DeLuca, a board member, is ranting on the internet that they are squeaky clean, but this is just nonsense DeLuca delivers from behind his typewriter,

Deluca won't speak in public at the city council.  A huge red flag.

We challenge the board of directors of TV3, Medford Community Cablevision Inc. to come to the City Council on July 19, 2016 and give the community the meeting minutes and financial records.

Where are the investigators at the AG's office to give the public some assurance that the monies will be accounted for?

Where?

TV3’s president says the station spent all of its savings — more than $130,000 — on operating costs before the now-defunct access station’s Board of Directors voted to dissolve the station last October.
But officials want proof, since Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. (TV3’s legal name) is required to transfer all remaining assets to the city before it dissolves.
TV3’s Board of Directors now has until Thursday, July 24 (2014) to produce financial records from the station’s final year or it could face legal action from the city.
