Belson is GONE June 18th Medford’s long-time School Superintendent Roy Belson announced that he will retire upon the completion of his contract on June 30, 2018. Superintendent Belson, a product of the Medford Public Schools, has served as a teacher, administrator, and superintendent. He has been working in the school system for over fifty years, twenty-three of which he served as superintendent.

Belson announced his decision at the November 20 School Committee meeting (video below). The School Committee is working on a plan to find a replacement.
