I Actually Went on Sabbatical

Sabbatical!
(well, a leave of absence, not an actual "sabbatical")

Today's Diary Entry: Though I am a member in good standing at many, many, many access TV stations where there has never had to be a complaint filed (because they are honest and run the station for their respective cities and towns honestly,) the truth is before certain individuals with a variety of personality disorders got all paranoid (that includes a mayor or two or three...) ...the truth is that Joe V. had already put in for a sabbatical in Somerville with the E.D. and it was granted.

That's right, for the first time in years both the Pop Explosion and Visual Radio are having a long-needed vacation.

Now think about this: the jealousy at TV stations where I already put in for a sabbatical to get hostile with me says more about their paranoia (as well as their doing things in a not very kosher way, that's all we'll say about that, for now!) ... speaks more about them than it does of their false accusations and slander and libel!

So after I've already put in for a leave of absence, they then decide to get nasty!  Wow.
You can't make this stuff up.  The guy's walking out the door, you gotta throw rocks at him because, boo hoo, the creepy host with the Children's Den* bringing all those underage kids in for "interviews" was jealous over my A -List guests!

*Not my name for its (the host's) show, son of Cousin It from the Addams Family!;) Another host came up with that.  Imagine if a board member over at that station who lusts for Joe Curtatone had a parade of 15, 14 year old boys coming through week after week. Wouldn't you get suspicious and say "Shades of Park Marenteau and his parade of nephews? So why is some dude bringing little girls into the station week after week?  Just asking!

Where's Mark Rumley's CORI check when there should be one???   !   File under: Child's Play!

The clones of TV3 Medford!

Speaking of Mr. Rumley, years ago he said one truthful thing: "No one would do this for themselves; you are doing this for the community."

That's right, Mark, and the community has to understand that you are the Commander in Chief when it comes to CENSORSHIP

Another lawyer righteously dubbed me
THE AVENGING ANGEL OF ACCESS TV

And y'all know me.    And my tenacity!

Once I clean up Medford and Winchester (Oh, yes, Mr. Gauthier, you are still on my proverbial dartboard ...and the report will be forthcoming when you least expect it, and it will hammer that fraudulent board of directors to help the citizens of Winchester) we then will expose the frauds at the other two stations!

EXCEEDINGLY EFFICIENT AT IT!
To quote the Architect in the Matrix

"we have destroyed it, and we have  become
exceedingly efficient at it."

Just ask Prank Filleri!

no one EVER thought Prankie could get bounced, and people in Medford APPRECIATE the work ethic, even if Stephanie ran off with the money.

To put it mildly, we were very loud about going after Continental Cablevision/Media One/ATT back in the old days cleaning up Woburn/Stoneham, and even louder when we nuked Medford Community Cablevision, Inc.

But with Winchester and two other cities!
Silence is Golden!

Why give them even a clue?

Joe V, here to help the communities being held hostage by a social butterfly who wouldn't know social media if it bit her; an E.D. that MUST be suffering from erectile dysfunction in another city, he's gotten so cranky lately!, and some ditzy mayors too drunk with power to see the forest for the trees.

Good old Park Marenteau, that convicted child molester, was right about one thing when we had a radio E.D. by the xxxxxx "THIS is going to be Fun!"

R.I.P.  Park - you got on TV3 to tell your lurid stories when Medford citizens were denied the cablespace.  Think about THAT, dear readers!

It doesn't take a Philadelphia lawyer to figure out that I'm putting lots of work into my rock and roll band.

We concluded the Pop Explosion series over the past 3 years with one of the biggest rock stars in the history of the world, not just the Boston area.

A blaze of Glory

Pop Explosion will be back.

Visual Radio will be back.

However, the new path for my musical career is exciting and beautiful.  Not reinventing the wheel, following in Ray Davies and Lou Reed's footsteps with stories and song.

As one of my bandmates said "Lou Reed's Take No Prisoners" - which, actually, subconsciously is what I was creating, not realizing it.

Lou Reed was pretty dismissive to people in his incredible 2 record set with a magnificent rendition of "Coney Island Baby" - sometimes downright cruel.

Our shows are going to be a lot more uplifting, a positive spin on what Lou was doing, but his album remains a courageous classic.

Even I draw the line at saying "That (see you next Tuesday's) not breathing, man..."  Yikes...
Street Hassle with Bruce Springsteen

I asked Lou via e mail if he got the Street Hassle "Waltzing Matilda" riff from the string section of Linda Ronstadt's "Different Drum" (the Stone Ponies, produced by my friend the late Nik Venet, another genius!)...Lou said "I never even heard "Different Drum."

When your heroes send you e mail your life is complete.

Rest in Peace Lou, I carry on the message for you.

lou's live album

Joe Vig's first album, 1978, Flamingo/Carrere Records

The Carrere label also had Saxon, Phyllis Nelson, Rose Royce

Lou Reed wanted to play football with the coach.

I want to play lacrosse with the ex varsity coach!
