Communications Advisory Committee (CAC)
(Formerly the Cable Television and Communications Advisory Committee)
The Communications Advisory Committee advises the Board of Selectmen and other Town officials on all aspects of wired and wireless communication and data services to and within the Town government. When stipulated by the Selectmen, the CAC represents the Town in negotiations during contractual/license relationships with cable providers; they also monitor and evaluate compliance of any Lexington contracted Community Access Television Corporation (LexMedia).

11 members - should have an interest in communications and education. In particular, representatives of key user groups in the town (e.g. schools, libraries, service groups) are encouraged to become involved.
