NOTICE: THE MAJORITY OF MEN AND WOMEN ON THE MEDFORD POLICE FORCE ARE HARD-WORKING, HONEST, ETHICAL PEOPLE WHO HAVE TO DEAL WITH A CORRUPT CHIEF OF POLICE!

(Medford Police )Records Officer Diane Riley told the Transcript MuckRock sent its requests to a fax machine "not anywhere near the records department," which was not staffed for more than a year. She also said the site's requests were unclear, and she has responded to the requests she personally received.

KEY WORD: PERSONALLY! Where is the accountability? If a Public Records Request, which is the law, comes by carrier pigeon, fax, e mail or U.S. Mail and goes to the Police Chief or to the janitor, the Keeper of the Records can't complain that the fax isn't near her desk!

Medford Police Chief Leo A. SACCO Jr HAD A PUBLIC RECORDS REQUEST ON former officer STEPHEN LEBERT THAT HE PURPORTEDLY PUT IN THE CIRCULAR FILE.

KEEPER OF THE RECORDS SHOULD SUFFICE when it comes to who the FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) request should go to.

KEY WORD: PERSONALLY! She didn't "personally" get the memo...because they probably made paper airplanes out of the requests...from a victim of the police chief's failure to respond to requests in a timely manner!
