MEDFORD, MA – A proposed 5-acre recreation facility on Medford's part of the Middlesex Fells Reservation is lacking key support from city officials. Medford Mayor Stephanie M. Burke sent a letter this week to Gov. Charlie Baker formally opposing the complex, which would include an ice rink, ranger outpost, meeting space and a possible dog park.
The project is being proposed by Winchester Youth Hockey and the Friends of the Winchester Ice Rink.
