Wilbur Theater's Bill Blumenreich SAID that Stephanie Muccini-Burke could do her standup routine at the Chevalier for "the door," which is music biz lingo for no advance, but the comedienne would get what comes in at the box office that night.
When Stephanie bombed rumor has it she had the DPW literally take "the door" off the hinges at the Chevalier Theater for payment*
Two questions:
1)Who took "the door" (or two or three) from city hall?
2) *Will agent NB (is he still around?) tell us his story when his band was playing for "the door" in New Hampshire and, quite literally, TOOK THE DOOR...off of its hinges! Funny old story! Norman told us.
