Hard Hitting Story on Hypocrisy of S.M.B.
NOW, ABOUT THAT ACCESS TV:
Now that Malden Access Television has unethically turned to 'the dark side," allowing an unbalanced individual to interact with other members, the old axiom "absolute power corrupts absolutely" is again re-established.
Edit of article from December 13, 2013
Times change.
It is disingenuous of anyone
like the ugly old creeps on TV3 Medford, who held a resource back and contributed to voter
apathy saying "no one cares."
No one cares? Actually, no one knows because access television sometimes violates its mandate to reach out to the community. Some creepy stations have entrenched individuals who use the stations for infomercials and parties that they spend your money on.
No one knows about access because of the
theft of access television by a group of scammers and con artists who
violated the public trust and fractured the agreement the city made.
Then, when one of the most notorious of the filthy gang is arrested and
indicted by a grand jury, the group of rats attempts to distance
themselves from the person they enabled and might even have been
accomplices of.

Jeanne Martin made a good point - if
"no one hears your cries for help" you simply go above that person.
The
Mayor is not the king, nor is he president. McGlynn is very connected to
Martha Coakley, which is a problem for residents.
Voters see this and
more apathy sets in, not because people don't want change, a majority
view it as "impossible" and stay home. That's where community organizers
step in. The poster citing hopelessness ("No one hears your cries for
help") makes a soundbite that is not based in reality. Change is a slow
process. When Councilor Camuso introduced me to his aunt he said "Joe's a
community activist."
We need more community organization.
The city council is a joke. When we pay people 27K or more a year (it's now 30K - they vote for their own pay raise on the council) to shake hands and hand out taxi
licenses like Halloween candy, we will have voter apathy.
The citizens
see the lunacy by some of our elected officials, starting with Mayor
Ribboncutter.
When we have access TV and there is more political speech
on the television sets in Medford, we will have more government
participation by regular citizens. It is one element, but a very
important element that other cities and towns enjoy, something denied
the citizens of Medford. This activist is working diligently to open up
that avenue sooner than later.
Malden has gone to the dark side; Winchester was hijacked by a loon who shared a room in Salem with the Malden E.D. Executive Dysfunction is what the E.D. stands for in both cases, and the citizens get screwed again.
