MEDFORD, MA — An "unidentified substance" was found at Medford High School for the second time this month, according to Headmaster Paul D'Alleva. In a message to the MHS community, D'Alleva wrote that the substance was found around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in the corridor between the second-floor C and B buildings.
The discovery happened after the 2:18 p.m. dismissal time, D'Alleva said. The substance, which was found on a window sill in a heavily used hallway, was cleaned by Medford police and Trauma 24.
A similar occurrence happened last week. The Medford Police Department was involved in handling both incidents, according to D'Alleva.
