Faith in my system of eavesdropping.

Of course I just had to interrupt..."I know Bernard."
The extra good-looking fellow (you think I'm going to interrupt if he looked like George Scarpelli? Yes, I discriminate!!!!) said "You know Bernard?"
My response: "Bernard is a very dear friend of mine." (after 35 years he'd better be...) - I told him ...or them...how I met Bernard who was drumming for Rolling Stone Mick Taylor (I was Mick's publicist) and he asked me for a ride. Moi? I am not worthy!
(The ongoing debate, who is the most recorded drummer of all time? Bernard or Porcaro!)
Told them also how when I was managing the New Kids on the Block studio (Breanna, take note!) - Mission Control in Westford that Bernard did a session for me. I took out The Supremes Greatest Hits (love that multi-CD set) and he said "What are you doing?" I said "I'm playing the Supremes' "Baby Love," Jo Jo wants to record it."
"Who do you think played drums for the Supremes live?"
"I am not worthy..."
Eaves dropping, interrupting, and meeting new people.
Now before Lisa A reads this and texts me the name "Harvey Weinstein" like she did a certain Rep in Medford/Malden after the Paul/Mark snapshot was released TAKE NOTE: I did NOT give him my business card... darn it! ...oh, stop it, Lisa, I was just being very nice...because he didn't look like Rick Scarpelli or George Caraviello...not by a long shot, thank God for big favors..)
...this was last night, by the way, and like Cinderella I was out of time because my friend was letting me drive his nice hybrid and was texting me that he wanted it back! OH, turn me into a pumpkin!

EAVESDROPPING 101
Here's a hint: I wasn't at Alexander's with Judge Cavanaugh when I heard this one...
...my ears picked up from people I do not know that the boys in blue thinks the Dept "sucks" with Buckley in charge! Don't blame me, I'm just the messenger, and these people are not known to me...just walking through a variety of public places and stores and such...rumor has it MULTIPLE officers are inquiring with other municipalities for "lateral transfers" to other departments.
The other nugget was that - allegedly - Sergeant Charles Hartnett is clinging to Jack Buckley like Velcro! Buckley was - purportedly - going to put Charlie on the Star Trek Klingon list as CLINGING ON but no one else is paying attention to the chief so he'll take a stalker over loneliness!
Rumor has it that squeeze Charlie scored high on the Lt. Exam despite Marian Ryan branding him untrustworthy...go figure...break policy, conduct unbecoming and...voila...YOU can be a Lieutenant!

Heck, and Councilor Marks Confessed he was "confused" talking to ex solicitor Rumley (who wouldn't be?...confused, that is!) Now I'm confused that after Marian Ryan, paragon of virtue herself, decreed the officers so tainted that they were untrustworthy, in Chief Buckley's "infinite wisdom" (in his own mind) RUMOR MILL has it that Harnett is going to be a Lieutenant!

Dear Lt. Casey and Attorney Scanlon and/or Keeper of the Records:
Enclosed is a public records request regarding Chief John Buckley's contract.
I am especially interested in any portion of the contract where the agreement can be terminated
for moral turpitude or any other reason.
I am sending a copy of this to Barry Clemente at Internal Affairs.
On October 1, 2019 the Chief of Police of Medford claimed that approximately a quarter of the force
were "all good men and women," repeating the mantra on his biography on the police website.
In fact, through the hard work and honest efforts of this reporter, the L'Italien Report was released to me,
after threats and a ...PARAGRAPHS REMOVED ON ADVICE OF...
We are taking the assault very seriously. It would be refreshing if the police internal affairs would do so as well, though Medford has a sad history of protecting and serving city government rather than the people it is supposed to serve. Look at the pattern of abuse I have suffered from multiple officers of the Medford Police Department merely for fighting for public access television rights and attending city council meetings.
Why I believe Buckley needs to be removed from office:
a)that a Chief of Police would outright lie to the citizens of Medford on 10/1/19.
b)that a reporter had to do the heavy lifting despite then Solicitor Rumley's objections

Two points are vital here:
1)To serve and protect
2)That all government documents are perceived to be owned by the people pursuant to the public records law.
The contract is vital to the health and safety of Medford, its citizens, its visitors.

This is a request under the Massachusetts Public Records Law (M. G. L. Chapter 66, Section 10). I am requesting that I be provided a copy of the following records:
1)The contract signed by Police Chief John Buckley
2)The job description for Chief of Police in Medford
3)Notes and documents regarding a determination by the Medford Police regarding a floppy disc containingalleged child pornography delivered to J J McLean. As the alleged perpetrator was purported to be a friend of former mayor, Michael J. McGlynn, these notes are needed for the public's inspection and for a request to the new mayor to reopen the case. I have evidence that the police have failed to utilize in making a determination on the age of the alleged victim, and have posted that information publicly.
Reasonable costs for copies, as well as for personnel time needed to comply with this request however, as a member of the press with a vibrant Medford newsletter that has 1,515,949 all-time page views as of 11:06 am 1/9/2020 and 33,514 in the past month, these documents are of great interest to the many, many readers of my popular news site. I kindly request that you waive all fees
The Public Records Law requires you to provide me with a written response within 10 business days. If you cannot comply with my request, you are statutorily required to provide an explanation in writing.
