Picture the twisted humor of Mad Magazine mixed with hard-hitting public records requests, Open Meeting Law violations. At 7:55 pm tonight the L'Italien Report has roared back to #1 over the past two days, it's THIRD TIME at #1 and the page visits by readers are quite telling. The post is more than twice the popularity of Post #2 - Chief Jack Buckley Must Investigate TV3. And the Jack Buckley post is highly popular.
Both issues concern the lack of action by the police department in Medford.
Why did the police fail to investigate the finances of a 501c3 non-profit in this city?
Why did retired cyber-detective J.J. McLean go RUNNING UP TO THE D.A.'s office when he found out that former D.A. Gerry Leone granted me a meeting with Doug Nagengast (boy do we miss Gerry with Marian Ryan's failure to perform - on many levels!)
Rather than be supportive J.J. was - in the opinion of this journalist's powers of observation (which have been "spot on" according to the experts!!!) running interference. J.J. was running interference on behalf of TV3 (read: on behalf of McGlynn).
TV3 was Michael J. McGlynn's scarecrow. McGlynn - allegedly - has stated to a producer when asked about public access television:
"I hate it."

But Michael McGlynn sure loved to put the not-very-astute Jack Dempsey in charge, Dempsey with his seeming allergy to lav microphones! Poor Fire Chief Gilberti in what sounded like a silent movie with ex police chief Sacco.

We fought the good fight on access TV, and we won. And now that the unclean hands of the former city solicitor have been exiled, it seems like the AG's office and their investigation will give us another look at Medford Community Cablevision, Inc.
