MEDFORD, Mass. —
A Medford man is expected to survive after he suffered serious injuries in a pedestrian hit-and-run crash that also left a teenager and dog injured, according to the Massachusetts State Police.
State police say the collision happened at about 9:05 p.m. Saturday in the area of 163 Mystic Avenue.
Three people were walking a French bulldog in the parking lot of 163 Mystic Ave. and were approaching the sidewalk on the southwest side of the road when an SUV, a 2018 Chevrolet Trax, that was traveling south exited the roadway near the parking lot entrance, crossed the sidewalk and struck two the three pedestrians in the parking lot.
One of
the pedestrians, a 52-year-old Medford man, was sent airborne from the
impact and was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston
with serious, life-threatening injuries. According to an update from
