Dear Councilors:

Someone in Medford has to protect the voters from the possibility of hothead Paul Camuso being in a position of power.  This writer was most effective in the removal of Gene McGillicuddy at MHA, TV3 and Bob Maiocco, whether people want to believe it or not.

We have 34 days to January 7th.  I will be lobbying diligently to help improve the city of Medford.  I want the Council to consider Michael Marks as Council President.

The people want Michael Marks as Council President.
The People Do NOT want Bob Maiocco's nephew continuing Mr. Maiocco's self-serving and embarrassing policies.

Last year when Mr. Maiocco caused a big fuss over being president, lashing out at some of you, lashing out at me, we found something out: Maiocco was not fit to be Council President.

Maiocco was NOT FORTHRIGHT with the community in regards to his troubles at Wells Fargo.

ALL the city councilors had an obligation to our community to look into Mr. Maiocco's past.  It took the hard work of a citizen after being insulted and humiliated by Maiocco week after week after week to finally reveal the man behind the curtain was all smoke and mirrors and sadly lacking in integrity.   Last night Maiocco was out-of-order when Councilor Penta was asking questions of a speaker at the podium; Maiocco was out of order refusing to call Dello Russo out on his misbehaving. That's what you get when a Bob Maiocco thinks the rules don't apply to him.

When Breanna Lungo Koehn was being mercilessly attacked by TV3 on WordPress only one citizen came forward to clean up the mess that individual, now arrested, and his "roommate" created - only one citizen helped two councilors and a budget director out.

My vote is important, and my position today is that Paul Camuso would be a great baseball coach or guy to run Pop Warner or West Medford Hillside Little League, but not a very good council president.

I will VERY PROFESSIONALLY and surgically and with care and as much decorum as possible expose the reasons why Camuso is not fit to serve as Council President.

If the councilors who voted for Mr. Camuso get tainted with his history of misconduct at the city council - and possible other transgressions, so be it.

This is a travesty. Paul Camuso is not only not ready for prime time. Paul Camuso's antics - from driving up a one way behind City Hall and blasting his horn and pointing at me, to then plow through a DO NOT ENTER sign, is the real Paul Camuso.  That's the hothead, juvenile delinquent who will grab your proverbial slice of pizza before you get a chance to pay the pizza delivery guy.

That's who you voted to be Council President, Breanna? Rick?
Adam?  What planet are you people from?

Say goodnight, Uncle Gene.  Say Goodnight, Uncle Bob. And say goodnight, Paul.

You have 34 days to change your mind, all of you, and so help me God, I am going to write about this despicable vote every day and mail it out with my Christmas cards if I have to until we get some justice in this city.

Paul Camuso is an awful choice.  You might as well just take a bottle of ink and throw it on your nice white shirt because when you rub up against a dirty barrel like Paul Camuso one tends to get just as dirty.

A vote for Paul Camuso is a dirty vote and it will not be tolerated.

Do the right thing.  Voting for Bob Maiocco was wrong and Medford suffered because of it.

This writer will point out precisely how bad a vote for Camuso is, and the residents will have information to logically consider the benefits vs. the downside.

We need a professional as Council President, not a juvenile delinquent.

The “votes” taken during the caucus are not binding, and are meant to merely show the intent of each councilor. The new leadership does not become official until voted on during the first council meeting of the new year.

Camuso told the Transcript following the caucus that he does not remember a council member ever changing his or her vote from the caucus to the official voting.
