"Detective" LeBert is famous in Medford and known as a crackpot. Lame-duck Mayor Michael J. McGlynn and his former Director of Personnel allowed this nonsense to fester and now McGlynn is pushing for the ex Director of Personnel to become Mayor, when she doesn't know the first thing about operating a city. 93 days to election day, November 3. Officer on leave after video shows him threatening driver  (DID THEY TAKE LEBERT'S GUN AWAY????)

"LeBert was off duty and out of uniform when he stopped a man who had made a wrong turn ".
I have seen the video, and if I were driving and being chased by a madman in a pickup I would not have stopped. LeBert was acting no different than any one else experienceg road rage.
Only difference was his sense of empowerment because he carries a badge in his wallet.

MEDFORD, Mass. — A veteran Medford police detective has been placed on administrative after he was caught on video threatening to "put a hole" in the head of a motorist.

A dash camera video posted to YouTube records LeBert tell the man, "I'll put a hole right through your head," and use profanities despite the driver's apologies.

The driver says LeBert overreacted.

Sacco says he was troubled by LeBert's actions and language.
LeBert said he has not seen the video and has no comment.
