MEDFORD ELECTION RIPOFF 2015

McGlynn and Roy Belson are against us having a TV station.lTheir plan is to have it for the students and keep the public from having a real voice. A dark school at 9 o'clock at night is not where seniors and women would like to be. Anyone notice how the theft at the high school on Friday was hushed up and not broadcast on Fox 25 until the night of November 3, after the election? It was Belson himself talking to the news media five days after the story happened. IF we had a van and a mobile camera cablecasting from cellular right to TV3 and onto cable, which I was pushing for this election, you would have received all sorts of news stories. Those who are against this platform are against transparency. Mike Ruggiero would have had many more votes, as would have Bill O'Keefe, Neil Osborne and others were they not denied access TV that they pay for. I have a little bit of experience in this arena.

THIS WAS JUST PART OF THE VOTER FRAUD, KEEP THE CITIZENS FROM HAVING INFORMATION ON THE NEW CANDIDATES SO THAT MCGLYNN COULD GET HIS WATER TAXI AND GARAGE BY PUTTING IN

SCARPELLI
FALCO
DELLO RUSSO
KNIGHT
RICK CARAVIELLO

MCGLYNN WAS PART OF THE
CROOKED DIPAOLA MACHINE

PEOPLE SEEM TO FORGET THAT

DON'T.

The Mayor's hand-picked panel, Fred Laskey, Chip Hines, Allison Goldsberry noted that it should be centrally located. Linda, all I've heard at the many meetings was that the high school was too far off the beaten path. So if your proposal is to have the high school with more lighting, it doesn't address the issue that the bus stops at the bottom of the hill, tons of snow will dissuade people from going up that long path, where a centrally located station would be a better fit. Again, this is information that is readily available in the report to the Mayor from his own people. I was at every single meeting, including their private ones that weren't open to the public (such as the private meeting second floor of the Chevalier.) The library and the Chevalier are a better fit, more centrally located. But what do I know, I'm only the guy who attended the meetings and who has the data. The Mayor was developing his own plan while his panel was out doing the research. It is perplexing when people who haven't looked into something that many in our community are passionate about gloss over key facts: other cities and towns have access centrally located; other cities and towns got the message out at election time. Medford was kept in the dark.

Bob Penta's plan includes a temporary 3 year station at the Chevalier and/or the library, and then a central station at a new building. The Chevalier and library studios would be satellite stations after 3 years, a la Arlington having a satellite near the high school, the main station at Arlington Heights (in an old library building.) That events at the library and at the Chevalier would be ready to cablecast or upload to YouTube and other platforms is the added plus.

There should be a separate public access channel and a separate high school channel. The Mayor has taken the funding from the high school and thrown it in the General Fund. The Governmental channel monies pay for three teachers at the high school. This isn't fair. The High School is supposed to have its own channel. I am a member in Wakefield where the station is attached to the high school - the Wakefield camera was used for a backup tape of the Medford High School debate. Wakefield TV is separate from the high school though it is physically attached. It is difficult to get to for Wakefield citizens but it is a wonderful place with a great staff. I've been involved with Wakefield for well over a decade, possibly longer. The City Council of Medford was told on many occasions, by me, that Medford needs to look at the surrounding stations. The Mayor's panel took my advice, but simultaneous with them looking, McGlynn was preparing his own plan for the high school. He completely ignored the proposals from his hand-picked committee.
