another story that we broke first.Access TV announcement from School Committee
MARCH 28, 2016

New Access TV Station You get the news here first.
I spoke to the School Committee tonight. I could feel the ice darts from Muccini Burke, Belson and Riccio. Too bad. A citizen spoke up on the night they unveiled access TV. They must think I'm psychic.
I am. March 28, 2016 is the date on the architect boards, March 28, 2016 is when this access TV veteran spoke to the School Committee.
Paulette Van der Kloot was useless saying "I know it is frustrating but
it doesn't come under our purview." Useless public servant.
Bob Skerry didn't speak. Another useless member of the school committee. His cousin made over 100K suing people with public access money.
Heidi Riccio said the new access station would open in September. Stephanie Burke said October. Ya gotta love that they aren't even on the same page.

ANDOVER — The first congratulatory email appeared in Heidi Riccio’s inbox at 6:58 a.m.
The now-former Greater Lawrence Technical School administrator had recently been named “Educator of the Year” by a national non-profit organization. At least that’s what a school-issued press release claimed.
So when a news item announcing Riccio’s purported award appeared in the May 7 edition of The Eagle-Tribune, her colleagues naturally offered their praises. Riccio responded with a humble reply at 1:08 p.m.
“This honor is really the school’s honor that many hands touched,” wrote Riccio.
There was one major problem — Riccio was never named “Educator of the Year” by the New York City-based Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE). The true recipient of the accolade was a Chelsea High School teacher.
Riccio was put on paid leave May 8 — one day after the news item was published. One month later, officials at the technical school and with NFTE have still yet to explain the boondoggle.
