Judge Calls Obsolete Mark Rumley "Irrelevant" and dismisses City Solicitor

Janice,
Thank you for your professionalism.

Mr. Mark Rumley offended me in his office when he said that access TV was "obsolete." So much for computer skills for the public, the children, the seniors.  Then Rumley retracted his self-serving comment.  If Mr. Rumley did the right thing when the board of TV3 terrified and harassed this community, he might be able to walk out of the solicitor's office with some dignity.  He didn't, and he must be relieved of his duties for an honest solicitor that takes a normal paycheck and doesn't rip off this city by failing to provide true legal representation.

It is disgusting when a city solicitor gets on a witness stand in a court of law (9/1/16) to find out he's not a witness, and refreshing when a judge listens to the victim's objection and calls Mr. Rumley "irrelevant."

What city wants a duplicitous solicitor removed from a witness stand for being "irrelevant." Don't blame the messenger, a judge said it in a court of law.  The man judged irrelevant in Somerville District Court, Mark Rumley, is unfit to be our city lawyer.

Please forward my message to him - it is time for him to resign. He is conflicted investigating a board that he sat on , Medford Community Cablevision, Inc., he is derelict in his obligations to the public, he was a public embarrassment on Valentine's night arguing with a city councilor.

In order for progress in Medford, the obsolete City Solicitor must resign, be fired by the mayor, or have the authorities investigate him for allegations of conflict of interest and not protecting the best interests of this city - vis-a-vis his moronic jumping up to censor me when I was at the housing authority removing (with the help of Governor Deval Patrick) the mayor's uncle from participating on a board chock full of cronies.

Rumley was right about one thing: that I've invested enormous time and resources to help the citizens of Medford on a number of matters, most notably access TV.

Rumley called access TV "obsolete?""  He was just deflecting as it is HE who is OBSOLETE, and a judge declared Mr. Rumley "irrelevant."  Who are we to disagree with a respected judge?

Thank you, Janice, for all your help.

Warm Regards
