Rio Rancho City Councilor sentenced for filing false police report September 29, 2016

Rio Rancho City Councilor sentenced for filing false police report - this is why City Councilors LIE - there is very little punishment for their egregious crimes

RIO RANCHO, N.M. (KRQE) – A Rio Rancho City Councilor found guilty of filing a false police report has been sentenced.
Police say David Bency filed the report with the Rio Rancho Police Department in March, accusing then City Councilor Lonnie Clayton of damaging a campaign sign for the District 6 council race. Bency didn’t see the incident firsthand but claimed a  friend sa an older man kicking the sign.
According to the Rio Rancho Observer, he was sentenced on Tuesday to one year unsupervised probation and ordered to pay over $100 in court fees.
