So I was cruising around 128 earlier this evening and lo and behold at 6:41 or so the jocks were talking about a caller who weeks ago brought up the idea of Lebron James coming to the Celtics.

Yes, indeed, host John Byers who talked to Larry Luccino of the Red Sox some years back on Visual Radio was being talked about.

So we phoned John From Medford and told him that he was being referenced and he phoned in to the station and they discussed the idea again!

Congrats, Johnny, for getting the props that you deserve for being the first caller in New England to tip off WEEI  to the idea of LeBron James going to the Celtics.

John reportedly heard it floated on a TV show (ESPN?) at the time, but it was nice to hear the on-air personalities give credit where credit is due.
