MEDFORD, MA – Medford Police Chief Leo Sacco retired this month after 28 years at the helm of the department. (Editor's note: McGlynn in for 28 years, Sacco, how much better would this city be if it had TERM LIMITS for these jokers?)
The Medford native and son of a local police officer helped establish the DARE program at the city's schools, oversaw the expansion of the Domestic Services Unit and the Drug and Vice Unit, implemented frequent community police meetings and created a Human Services position, according to the Medford Transcript.
