Appreciating The Readers -
Today a person asked "Are you Joe Viglione?"
And after the Tree Warden, Aggie Tuden, and another woman off Salem Street said to me at different times "You're famous" my humorous reply to this individual was "Yes, I am. I'm famous."
The person responded: "You are."
The person then thanked me for the posts (I just edited out the gender for the person's privacy.)
This is key.
As the Solicitor of Medford tries his hardest to attack my writings - over a period of years - one would say it is an obsession by the city lawyer, truly, to fixate on one person, we have to view that as evidence that the city is hiding something.
A lot of things.
When the Law Office of Medford refuses to give residents public records request responses in a timely manner, you tell me- is the deficient city lawyer to be praised for not being forthright, when he has an oath of office or two that he needs to start abiding by?
Or is it we pesky citizens that a mayor can't be bothered with unless she knows that you vote for her. This is the reality in Medford.
People aren't hired on merit, they are hired if they can be controlled.
A senior citizen, older than me, said hi to me at city hall.
"Thank you, Joe, for what you do, I can't do it. I don't have the strength."
I never met the fellow, never saw him again.
Another fellow comes up to me and says "I love everything you do" then he added "in regards to Medford."
So contrary to the city lawyer's barrage of attacks on me, people do appreciate this missionary work being done to open the eyes of the residents of Medford.
That Mark E. Rumley is so fixated on me speaks volumes about what city government doesn't want you to know, and how seriously they appreciate my writing skills.
This is hard work, and it is done to improve Medford, to make Medford a better place.
