RE: Public Records Request, Dissolution of MCC

Dear Solicitor Rumley and/or Keeper of the Records:

This is a request under the Massachusetts Public Records Law (M. G. L. Chapter 66, Section 10). I am requesting that I be provided a copy of the following records:

1)A copy of the Supreme Judicial Court's Dissolution document in regards to Medford Community Cablevision, Inc.

2)A copy of the documentation of dissolution of Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. as filed with the Secretary of State, Attorney General's office, Woburn Superior Court or any other entity

I recognize that you may charge reasonable costs for copies, as well as for personnel time needed to comply with this request. If you expect costs to exceed $10.00, please provide a detailed fee estimate.

IN a previous public records request Solicitor Rumley had failed to give a DETAILED FEE ESTIMATE, as requested, instead charging me $xxxxxx but failing to tell me he wasn't going to provide xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx  requested.  Anne Baker was able to provide me with a DETAILED FEE ESTIMATE.  I also noted that I would be happy to inspect the documents in the Solicitor's office.  I will happily note that prior to giving a check to City Hall I would like to peruse the documents in advance to see that I am receiving ALL the documents Mr. Rumley had implied I was receiving when, in fact, the most pertinent documents were denied me.

The Public Records Law requires you to provide me with a written response within 10 calendar days. If you cannot comply with my request, you are statutorily required to provide an explanation in writing.

Optimally, if available, the City Solicitor will read these documents into the record at the Medford City Council on November 19, 2013 as a councilor has a resolution to request Ann Baker appear and discuss the distribution of P/E/G monies.

Sincerely,

I have been told our organization is not in compliance. Can it dissolve?
Yes. However, the organization must first come into compliance by submitting all outstanding items and/or annual reports before or in conjunction with drafting the administrative petition or judicial complaint for dissolution. If you have concerns about your ability to come into compliance please call 617-727-2200, x2101 to discuss available options.
We were not aware of the reporting requirements with the AGO and never registered and/or filed, what do we need to do now to dissolve our organization?
