LETTER TO REVEREND MICKEY

To those in the correspondence, let's look at this logically:

Mr. Rumley was called "the Mayor's henchman" by a City Councilor and defamed ruthlessly by TV3 Medford on a spectacle called "the Chumley Report."  The inoffensive
little note I sent was baiting the City Solicitor and he did not disappoint.  Why didn't
Mr. Rumley show outrage over the Chumley Report and sue TV3 the way he threatened to take me to court over an inoffensive little poem?  Because your City Solicitor is a bully.

Wanted to prove what a hypocrite he is.  TV3 gangs up on him and he runs and hides.
One man fighting for ALL CONSUMERS says it like it is, and Rumley reacts as expected,
it is all about him, not the city he is supposed to serve.  Rumley should resign.

Mr. Rumley told an autistic man, John Byers, to go back to his attackers at TV3.
One of those attackers, who called myself, a senior citizen (Pat Fiorello) and the aforementioned Byers  "IDIOTS" is now under arrest for a false bomb threat.

Solicitor Rumley displayed a lack of good judgment in doing so.  What this volunteer did was to invite Mr. Byers to a show in Boston where he got to speak with Larry Luchino of the Boston Red Sox.  Now you tell me who is serving the public better, a humble volunteer or a flagrantly egotistical city lawyer who in ten years has been woefully deficient in regards to protecting MILLIONS of dollars in cable TV subscriber monies.

The "esteemed" City Solicitor, seen in public having an immature yelling match
with City Councilor Marks, needs to show a bit more humility and common sense.

"Mickey The Dunce" is a common phrase and no one that I know has ever considered it an ethnic slur.  How dare the crony-infested McGlynn Administration try to play the "race" card on this one. especially since Rumley himself has failed to protect gays, men and women of color, the disabled and the elderly from the venom of TV3.  Mr. Rumley doesn't want to take my words to heart because he is as guilty as sin in regards to being deficient, negligent, irresponsible and too busy carrying the corrupt McGlynn's water to be a man and act responsibly.

But let us not let the facts get in the way of Mr. Rumley's delusions of being some individual who deserves respect.  Mr. Rumley threatened to take me to court over a cute little poem that was a take-off on a pop song.  That's how thin-skinned the public figure/public servant is.

Mr. Rumley's failure to protect the citizens from Frank Pilleri's gang and his need to engage in a spitting contest on the government channel when a councilor referred to him as one of the Mayor's "henchmen" is all you need to know.

As a public servant AND someone who should be fighting for consumer rights, as I am, it is clear the hypocrisy flowing from the McGlynn Administration.  For a lawyer to prostitute his services on or at the whims of a dictator, Michael J. McGlynn, is all you need to know.

IN closing, Rumley has failed the citizens, refuses to be proactive with the bank records of TV3, Century Bank, Brookline Bank???  It is clear McGlynn has ordered the solicitor to not be proactive...McGlynn doesn't want the General Fund or the 3 high school salaries to evaporate, salaries paid for by P/E/G monies (to Dunphy, Goldsberry and Dempsey) so - ostensibly - that it frees up other monies so McGlynn can hire his daughters.  A little nepotism goes a long way in Medford.

The solicitor should do his job and respond appropriately to the public records request.

Get us those bank records and stop being so obnoxiously self-important.

Term limits - a beautiful thing.  Term limits can heal what is wrong with Medford
