Dear Public Charities division of AG's office:

Please note that Medford City Hall is attempting to squelch my ability to quickly send public records requests via e mail.  Solicitor Rumley responded to e mails
that  WERE NOT sent to him regarding issues (as Rumley is far too conflicted) and Rumley, in a rage, said he would block my e mails to City Hall.

This is the individual, a city lawyer, who used a taxpayer funded e mail account on the Immaculate Conception Church website as he is allegedly a "permanent deacon"  at a parish where Reverend Albert Capone (not kidding you) is the new
man in charge.  Did the Archdiocese put an "Al Capone" in to watch individuals at the church, as one parishioner noted to me, because Rumley and crew allegedly had hijacked the church the way they allegedly hijacked Medford City Hall?

Also, Rumley was allegedly caught moonlighting at Somerville District Court as a bill collector for credit card companies, allegedly, by a mayoral candidate a few years back   He allegedly said to the candidate "You ratted me out to (journalist) Joe Vig" - the candidate responding "Court is a public place, isn't it?"

If the conversation is to be believed, and I believe it, there seems to be a pattern of deception emanating out of Mayor McGlynn's office that the AG's office should be aware of, especially as we know McGlynn is thick as thieves with former AG Martha Coakley. Maura Healey doesn't need that ink stain on her nice new installment as Attorney General, does she?

It's been a year since Mark Rumley demanded information from TV3 Medford.

The citizens are being intentionally cheated by Rumley, McGlynn and Muccini-Burke - paying for access TV the Mayor wants to install 9 months from now.  How can a lame-duck Mayor, leaving office in 6 months, tell us that we will have access TV in 9 months, as McGlynn's surrogate, self-proclaimed alcoholic Paul A. Camuso, lame-duck city councilor and reprobate that shames the name of Middlesex Sheriff Peter Koutoujian's office every time Camuso opens his mouth.

We pay cable bills month after month and the service we deserve is not provided.
McGlynn asked for proposals, the sole proposal was from this writer, unarguably the most experienced public access producer in the city of Medford, my career in access starting in 1979.  

This is a demand that I be allowed to send public records requests to city hall without interference from a conflicted and abusive city solicitor.


On July 7, 2014 City Solicitor Mark E. Rumley demanded the financial records of Medford Community Cablevision, Inc..


Medford residents have no public access tv station as Mr. Rumley, Mayor Michael J. McGlynn and Stephanie Muccini-Burke - a candidate for Mayor - are not being honest with the citizens of Medford.  Ms. Muccini-Burke is not as good a speaker as her opponent, the pro-public access Robert M. Penta, and she clearly seems to be a coward about going on access television.  None of her paraphernalia that I have read mentions access TV.  She simply is prone to foot-in-mouth and allegedly wants to cheat Medford residents out of access TV.

For alerting City Hall to the failure of the videographers on the Government channel on June 18th to keep the camera on two candidates, council candidate Rick Caraviello and mayoral candidate Bob Penta, this resident was a victim of felonious assault and battery on a man over 60 by temperamental City Clerk Edward P. Finn who lashed out at me screaming and chest bumped me in front of many witnesses.

This was done, I believe, to scare away politicians who agree with me. This is how McGlynn divides and tries to "conquer" - he sends thugs to do his dirty work. Five years ago I was assaulted at City Hall, possibly the only two assaults at city hall in Medford's history.  McGlynn said to me "have fun with that" in reference to a police report; a different police report noted the sole victim was me.  McGlynn then went on a glitzy Comcast advertisement with one of the assailants and the police - instead of arresting McGlynn's pals, had the victim mediate.

Why don't they have rape victims mediate too?  This is how ugly City Hall in Medford is.    Now Mark Rumley, City Solicitor, is lying that the assault never happened when it did.  Rumley is a liar and a cheat, a wolf in sheep's clothing.


On or about July 8th 2015, a year after Rumley alleges he went after Medford Community Cablevision and, again, failed to get results that he promised the community, Rumley wrote me a vulgar e mail telling me he was going to block my e mails to City Hall.

This is what city hall does to people who file public records requests.  It is a clear deception by Rumley in order to avoid getting public records requests that pry into the deceptive way Rumley, McGlynn, Clerk Finn and candidate Muccini-Burke conduct themselves: in their own self-interest(s) - not in the best interests of the people these charlatan "public servants" claim that they are.

Rumley's July 9, 2014 letter to me noted:

 

      In a letter dated July 7, 2014, City Solicitor Mark E. Rumley responded to the dissolution papers filed by Francis R. Pilleri, Jr., the “president” of embattled 501c3 non-profit Medford Community Cablevision, Inc.     Rumley has given MCC TV3 and Frank Pilleri until 4:30 PM on Thursday, July 24, 2014 to turn over pertinent data, including canceled checks (both sides) and bank records or “the City of Medford will take appropriate legal action which will include but not be limited to filing an objectix>n—to the request of Medford Community Cablevision Inc. to voluntarily dissolve as a Massachusens not-for-profit corporation.  “

This is a demand that the Public Charities Division go after the 33k or so that is missing from the Medford Community Cablevision, Inc. finances, and make an announcement to the citizens.  TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE WITH AN ELECTION SO CLOSE, and a Mayor who is surrounded by thugs and reprobates, and who is not afraid to use them to attack senior citizens.

Stanley Komins was sent to jail for not providing financial records.

Why should Francis R. Pilleri, Jr. and his gang at MCC TV3 not be held
accountable?  Does the Mayor have more authority than Maura Healey?








The Attorney General's Non-Profit Organizations/Public Charities Division oversees organizations that are both not-for-profit and charitable.

In light of your request to meet with me this week I thought that I would respond to your email since I am on vacation until Monday.

As you know as City Solicitor I am legal counsel to the City but I do not have the Executive prerogatives of the Mayor.. Even so, when I return to City Hall on Monday I will print out your email and bring it to the Mayor's office.

Finally, since you have contacted me on the issue of access television, for your information  I am attaching to this email a copy of a recent letter that I sent to MCC.
