________________________________ After Madam Knighte walked out of the City Council, the THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS a year job - turning a deaf ear to citizens - the son of a bitch went into enemy territory at the end of the council meeting.
What? Ya think he is going to pick up votes from people who hate him?
A fellow came over to speak with me and said "We need to get rid of Caraviello, Knight and Dello Russo."
JV: You read my mind; great minds think alike.
The fellow laughed and Camuso walked by wishing us a good night.
Fellow: Thankfully he's gone... (when Camuso was out of earshot.)
JV: Doesn't Knight look like Lurch from the Addams Family or a Munster's character ?
The guy laughed and agreed.
There's dumbo Knight talking to a crew of citizens who loathe him. Caraveillo and Dello Russo joined the conversation. It was hilarious. They were in "enemy territory" talking to the very people who want to see them voted out of office.
We were laughing at the spectacle unfolding before us.
JV to the fellow "Caraviello is all done; he knows that he does not have the votes with all the competition. He's scared."
Fellow: Gotta get rid of Knight and Dello Russo too!
