RUMLEY ALLEGEDLY CENSORS FREE SPEECH IN MEDFORD

Just heard via telephone that School Superintendent Roy Belson, advised by Mark E. Rumley (per orders of McGlynn,no doubt) is refusing to air The Great Debate. Stephanie Burke supporters and Robert M. Penta supporters deserve better from these public servants, city officials, if true. DEMAND that Rumley do an about face on this. State Rep Paul Donato called political speech "The Most Protected Right" when TV3 pulled his video. Now I will be asking Mr. Donato to demand fairness. Here's a lie Immaculate Conception Church Deacon / City Solicitor / Alleged Bill Collecting attorney at Somerville District Court City Solicitor Mark E. Rumley told to retired Judge Marie O. Jackson, Thompson: / Medford Daily Mercury on or about Nov. 16, 2008 (quoted from the 2nd Judge Jackson-Thompson hearing) saying:
“The one sentiment that I have heard that I take great exception to is that the city is trying to limit speech,” said Rumley. “The notion the city would censor or squelch free speech is baseless and as city solicitor I would find any such effort repugnant.”
