so let's get this straight -

_______________________

the drug dealers were at the home of a

Medford cop?   Lured their victim there

and then shot the veteran and his innocent

friend at a cop's home?

___________________________

The papers did

NOT convey the facts clearly.

it is very confusing.

_____________________________

The PATCH says "Puopolo had been invited to a Micah’s Pond Way address in Stoneham where a drug deal was scheduled to occur. Upon arrival, both Williams and Tate drew handguns and demanded drugs and money before shooting Puopolo and another man."

_______________________________

Yet the other papers state - purportedly from the District Attorney's website, that it happened at Puopolo's home.

Did Puopolo live with (ex??) Officer Miguel Lopez, or did the drug dealer?

and why haven't the papers given any info

on the fate of the Medford police officer?

is Lopez in jail?

Is he still on the force?

Why does Chief Sacco have a job with all this malfeasance by cops on Leo's hands?

Medford, MA police officer Miguel Lopez indicted and has been charged with trying to cover up an alleged drug deal that led to a slaying at his Stoneham home.   (So this was the home on Micah way?)

(DA MARIAN )Ryan said he's accused of lying to investigators and removing evidence from his home.

She said a 28-year-old man who lives at the home allegedly arranged to sell drugs to two men July 2. Ryan said the men robbed and shot the 28-year-old and killed his innocent visiting friend, 27-year-old Joseph Puopolo.
Ryan said 24-year-old Jessie Williams of Medford and 19-year-old Eugene Tate of Malden also were indicted Thursday on charges including murder. They pleaded not guilty earlier.
A telephone listing for Lopez couldn't be found. It's not known if he has a lawyer.
