Paul Donato has the scepter of power.  If John J. Mahoney of Worcester shuts down Medford's opportunity for Charter Review the citizens believe it was with permission.

Mr. Donato should explain to his constituents how some individual 47.5 miles away from Boston, approximately 52.5 miles from Medford, decides how life in our community will be. 

Donato - as usual - wants it both ways, and seems to be getting sloppy in his old age.    Perhaps Paulie was for the bill before he was against it?  No such luck, the entrenched cronies in Medford are on a rampage ruining our resources.  It's just the not-very-nice way that they do business.


Mayor Burke's Propaganda Sheet, the Medford Transcript:

“For whatever reason, the chairman and members made a decision of ‘ought not to pass,’” Donato said. “Unfortunately, the issue is dead.”

Prior to the committee’s decision, Donato told the Transcript the committee’s chairman, Worcester Rep. John J. Mahoney, was skeptical of the level of community support behind the petition.

As Andrew Castignetti noted at the city council tonight, there are more signatures for Charter Review than there were for CPA - the Community Preservation Act. 

The Disgusting thing is how these DINOs, Democrat in Name Only - are acting like a bunch of bad Republicans.  They appear to be cut from the Dick Cheney / Ronald Dumbsfeld cloth, don't they?

Mrs. Muccini-Burke, Rep Donato, Superintendent Roy Belson (John Mahoney says "Who he???) Solicitor Mark Rumley,  Local 25 thug Madame Knight, incompetent Fred Dello Russo Jr. who appears to be as blind to the city council rules as Paul Camuso before him...it's a sick joke being played on the residents of Medford.

Outside of Donato's Spring Street office the streets are cracked, the paint has peeled off of crosswalks, Donato resembles the fictional cocaine dealer in James Bond's License to Kill, Franz Sanchez, looking out the window of the theater and :"owning" the third-world country that Donato's lack of action has made it.

Speaking of movies, British actor John Mahoney played the murderer judge in Cher's excellent film SUSPECT - he played Judge Matthew Bishop Helms who slit a girl's throat and then cut Cher as well.  Did Democrat John J. Mahoney of Worcester borrow Paul Camuso's meat cleaver to slice and dice bill 4227

When Donato filed the petition bill last month, he requested Mahoney schedule a public hearing on the bill “as soon as possible,” according to an April 28 letter from Donato to the council.
But last week, the committee acted without holding a hearing.
“It’s a majority vote,” Marks said. “And the mayor signed it. [Mahoney] killed it anyways. After all this, he didn’t hold a hearing and he killed it anyways.
