TV Volume too low at City Council - Letter to Stephanie Muccini-Burke November 29, 2016

866,310

To Medford City Hall:

After I spoke at the City Council meeting I went home to watch on Channel 43 Verizon.

The audio was LOW.   Switching to Law and Order SVU the TV would blast the commercial television while government access, with all our monies in some account somewhere, can hardly be heard unless you turn the volume up, jeopardizing your tv viewing...that you pay for.

Mrs. Burke promised access would come back in October while Heidi Riccio said September 2016.

Roy Belson told me Janiuary of 2017.

Meanwhile, on the only access TV in Medford, Fred Dello Russo Jr. had his hands on his mouth like some 5 year old looking for a teething ring...he does that when he's not staring into space like a zombie.

What an embarrassment while NECN was outside of city hall doing a story in the parking lot.

What an embarrassment that Fred Dello Russo, Jr. can be so sloppy on camera getting paid way too much money for his buffoonery.  Please watch the video and see how out of his depth Dello Russo is.

He should be removed for failure to look like a statesmen, to look stately, along with his dereliction of duty.

In any event, the volume is too low on the government public access TV channel. The only platform available to the residents currently to TRY to speak their minds.

So let's see - the volume is low, Dello Russo slams the gavel to confuse people, Adam Knight opens his mouth with his clumsy "point of information" when he has no point.  Free speech? Not in Medford.

We pay for it, do something about it.

Thank you.

City Solicitor Mark E. Rumley / Medford Daily Mercury
on or about Nov. 16, 2008 (quoted from the 2nd Judge Jackson-Thompson hearing) saying:

“The one sentiment that I have heard that I take great exception to is that the city is trying to limit speech,” said Rumley. “The notion the city would censor or squelch free speech is baseless and as city solicitor I would find any such effort repugnant.”
