Dear Attorney Scanlon and High School Records Officer
This is a request under the Massachusetts Public Records Law (M.G.L. Chapter 66, S. 10).
I am requesting that I be provided a copy of the following records:
As you know, the Public Records Law requires you to provide me with a
written response within 10 business days. If you cannot comply with my
request, you are statutorily required to provide an explanation in
writing.
Dear Attorney Scanlon and High School Records Officer
I am requesting that I be provided a copy of the following records:
1)All correspondence between the law office and the mayor,
Stephanie Muccini-Burke, regarding limiting speech in Medford - these
specifics include but are not limited to
a)documents, memos, e mails, texts regarding an embargo on political speech for six weeks prior to the
November 5, 2019 election
b)Solicitor
Mark E. Rumley's alleged new waiver for the CORI document - where is
it?; it was supposed to be updated a year or two ago, but the city
lawyer intentionally and flagrantly violates his oath of office by
dragging his feet on promises - (i.e. the promised MCC TV3 board
election in 2009; the demand for financial records in 2013, the CORI
waiver that doesn't make an access TV producer look like a child
molester, which Rumley's current Waiver does, etc.)
I
realize that you may charge a fee for paper and time etc; I request
that the fee be waived as this is of great public interest. Though I am
published in six or more books, have written for dozens and dozens of
publications, have been quoted in the New York Times and Boston Globe,
have written for the Boston Globe, Medford Transcript, Medford Mercury,
Billboard Magazine, time and time again I have been maliciously defamed
by Mark E. Rumley, Paul Camuso, Richard F. Caraviello, Adam Knight and
other individuals involved in city government. Clearly, Medford City
Hall loathes transparency, the First Amendment, free speech, and Mr.
Rumley, who holds citizens to the highest of standards, and has
disgustingly low standards for himself, lies to a retired judge and the
public about freedom of the press when the evidence proves that Mr.
Rumley is the author and architect of censorship in the city of Medford.
I editorialize in this public records request to get these facts on the
record, that Rumley has violated his oath of office in a very
transparent attempt to have a negative effect on the election and a
positive effect on his paycheck and those of his accomplices in this
hijacking of and chilling of speech in Medford. Rumley has lied to the
public, Rumley DENIES the public an opportunity to get on the
electronic soap box that they pay for via franchise fees to Verizon and
Comcast, and Rumley laughs all the way to the bank - when he's not,
allegedly, moonlighting at Somerville District Court on Thursdays as a
bill collector, or using his taxpayer funded e mail on the Immaculate
Conception church website, or bashing councilor Michael Marks at the
council or Joe Viglione from the witness stand when Rumley was found by
the court to have testimony that was "irrelevant."
It
should be noted that Mayor Stephanie Muccini-Burke dragged her feet in
2017 opening the TV station on October 15, 2017 to thwart new candidates
from getting exposure on access TV in time for the election (Exhibit A
see attached photo of state rep putting his hand on the private parts of
then city council vice president in front of two children and a 15 year
old student) and Mark Rumley's oath of office that he has clearly
fractured: the proof? This public records request. The only public
records request that I know of which provides documents in order to get
documents.
