Surrounded by chains and big boxes, some small businesses have managed to survive and even thrive doing things the old-fashioned way.
In today’s age of advanced digital technology, big chains and large corporations, it can often be challenging to find the old-fashioned, personal and authentic touch of a small, locally owned business.
“So many have closed,” said 69-year lifelong Medford resident Dom Camara. “There are only a few left. There were tons and tons of these things.”
