why is Medford only getting Two Hundred Thousand Dollars for this when that Doesn't Even Pay for the Worthless City Council?
Medford was awarded a $200,000 grant to fund the design of a multi-use boardwalk under the Route 28 bridge.
"A completed boardwalk could provide Encore Boston Harbor employees and customers safer access the casino's shuttles from Station Landing to the facility without having to navigate Wellington Circle or cross Route 28 at grade on foot or by bicycle," the MGC said in a statement.
Since 2015, the MGC has awarded approximately $16 million in grants from the Community Mitigation Fund.
